Clinically proven for the relief of dry eyes
Research reveals 78% of dry eye sufferers have a disturbance of the eye’s lipid layer, which controls tear evaporation. This means, in most cases, dry eye is caused by excessive tear evaporation rather than insufficient tears. Conventional treatments only address the aqueous or watery layer of the eye and do not address the cause of the condition. Developed in Germany, Tears Again effectively stabilises the lipid layer of the dry eye. A stable lipid layer reduces tear evaporation by up to 95%. Tears Again is available in pharmacies nationally.

What to use it for:
Dry eye occurs when the eye lacks sufficient lubrication, causing discomfort with each blink. Symptoms can include a scratchy, irritated feeling of the eyelid running over the front of the eye.
The lack of lubrication on the eye surface is due to an imbalance of the outer layer of the tear film, which contains essential fatty compounds. This is called the oily or lipid layer, which is responsible for controlling tear evaporation from the eye’s surface.
Tears Again is a liposomal spray, sprayed onto the closed eye. Each metered dose spray comprises of millions of tiny liposomes. Liposomes are microscopic particles that provide the eye with water, phospholipids, essential fatty acids, oil acids and vitamin E. Tears Again lowers the temperature of the eye, eases itchiness and reduces inflammation. Other benefits of using Tears Again include:
- easier to apply than drops or gels directly into the eye
- can be used whilst wearing all eye make-up
- can be used whilst wearing contact lenses
- up to 6 month shelf life once opened
- no risk of cross contamination
Directions for use:
Hold approximately 10cm away from the closed eye and spray Tears Again 1-2 times on closed eyelids. Use 3-4 times daily.
