DryEars Kids is an easy to use spray solution that prevents and treats swimmer's ear. The gentle formula quickly dries excess moisture in the ear canal after swimming or bathing, while also helping to inhibit bacterial and fungal growth.

DryEars Kids Spray is a solution that helps to prevent and treat infection and inflammation of the ear canal that can be caused by water exposure, causing Swimmer's Ear. No need for ear drops, head tilting or waiting times, just spray DryEars Kids into each ear after water exposure to dry out the excess moisture and restore normal pH to the ear canal and prevent any microbial growth.

Removes excess moisture: The alcohol in the solution dries out the excess moisture.

Inhibits infection: The acidic component of the solution then helps to restore the normal pH of the ear canal. This inhibits microbial growth and can help prevent outer ear infection.

Spearmint oil warms the ear canal and provides a pleasant smell.

DryEars Kids is suitable for children aged over 2 years.

Swimmer’s Ear (otitis externa) is an infection or inflammation of the skin of the ear canal.

Swimmer’s Ear is usually caused by bacteria or fungi and commonly occurs after swimming and other aquatic activities. The ear has a naturally acidic lining and excessive exposure to moisture can alter this acidic environment, which provides the right setting for the bacteria or fungi to thrive and invade the skin inside your ear canal.

Other causes include:

  • Mechanical damage, such as cleaning the ears with cotton buds.
  • Use of certain devices such as earbuds or hearing aids.
  • Chemicals such as hair spray, shampoo and hair dye.

Individuals are more prone to Swimmer’s ear if they:

  • Have small ear canals that do not allow for proper draining on their own.
  • Suffer from diabetes, as this condition can make earwax too alkaline and provide a more hospitable environment for bacteria to grow.
  • Have skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and seborrhoea.
  • Spend lots of time in water.

No, DryEars is not tested on animals and is 100% cruelty free.
