How does the EyeRevive mask help relive dry eyes?
Heat is an essential part of dry eye treatment as it helps stimulate oil production and the secretion of oil from the meibomian glands in your
eyelids. The oil produced by the meibomian glands is spread across your eye when you blink and works to restore the eye’s natural protective barrier (the lipid layer) which in turn reduces tear evaporation. Reducing tear evaporation is key to providing relief from dry eyes.
The EyeRevive Self-Heating Steam Eye Mask helps soothe and relieve dry, irritated and tired eyes by delivering a warm moist heat to the eyelids.
How does the EyeRevive eye mask work?
When the EyeRevive Mask is exposed to air, a natural chemical reaction occurs which heats the mask to create a warm, moist heat between 40°C - 45°C, staying warm for up to 30 minutes. This is the ideal temperature range and duration to achieve maximum therapeutic benefit in relieving dry eyes.*
How long does SilicolGel take to work?
This can vary from person to person. Some people see the effect of taking SilicolGel within a few hours, however for others it can take 2 – 3 days to see the full benefit. It very much depends on each person’s symptoms and the cause of these symptoms (these can be different person to person).
Can I take SilicolGel preventatively (i.e before I eat)?
We always recommend that SilicolGel is taken at least one hour before meals. SilicolGel calms and soothes the gastrointestinal tract, so some people do find it helpful to take SilicolGel if they know they are going to eat something that may cause irritation.
I have food intolerances, can I take SilicolGel preventatively? I suffer from food intolerances, can SilicolGel help?
SilicolGel is not specifically tested for food intolerance, however it can help treat some of the symptoms (such as heartburn, nausea, flatulence, diarrhoea, pain) by soothing and calming the digestive system and helping to manage bloating.
In this instance, we do recommend that SilicolGel is taken at least one hour before meals.
If take when using probiotics, does SilicolGel impact their efficacy?
No. As long as there is a gap of at least one hour between taking SilicolGel and probiotics. This is to ensure that the SilicolGel particles do not interfere with the absorption of the probiotic.
Does SilicolGel affect "good bacteria"?
SilicolGel does not remove nutrients and "good bacteria". It binds and removes toxic matter (bacteria) which, under normal circumstances, should not be present in the gastrointestinal tract. In a comprehensive study (King et al., 1956), it showed that digestive enzymes of the gastrointestinal tracts such as amylase, pancreas‐lipase, trypsin, pepsin, etc. are not deactivated by the adsorption of silicic acid.
Plus, and in no way wanting to confuse with food in general or with food supplements, it is important to state that humans consume silicic acid every day when eating oats & green vegetables. We have been doing so for many centuries. Silicic acid is an essential part of the diet. As well as being nature’s natural protector.
Can SilicolGel be diluted?
Yes. We recommend that the product is taken undiluted or mixed with water (not juice or other bervages). Adding water does not have any impact on effectiveness
Can SilicolGel impact slow/delayed release medications?
In the case of slow release medication we advise customers to follow the guidance that comes with their SR medication (as these vary considerably).
What is CleanEars Spray?
CleanEars is a 2-in-1 earwax removal spray that dissolves impacted wax and irrigates the ear canal.
What is earwax and what is its function?
Ear wax (cerumen) is produced by the ear to clean and protect itself.
Ear wax lubricates and cleans the ear canal by trapping micro-organisms, dirt and other irritants and migrating them out of the ear.
Sometimes, the wax builds up and becomes compacted, known as ‘earwax impaction’. This can lead to symptoms such as mild deafness and a sensation of fullness inside the ear.
How common is earwax impaction and what are its implications?
2-6% of the population suffer from ear wax impaction. It’s often experienced in patients over 65 years of age with up to 65% of over 65s reporting impaction. Effects can include hearing loss, pain, itching, tinnitus, vertigo, painful inflammation of the ear and chronic cough.
What causes earwax build up?
Some people are prone to produce more earwax than others; and excess wax doesn’t automatically lead to blockage. Using cotton tips can push wax deeper and is not a recommended way to remove ear wax.
Below are some common causes of earwax build up:
- Overproduction of ear wax: Ears can simply produce more wax than is possible to move naturally out of the ear.
- Cotton tips: The use of cotton tips to clean the ear may push wax deeper into the ear, making it more difficult to remove.- Physiology: A narrow ear canal can hinder the natural removal process and ear wax can accumulate.
- Hair: A large amount of hair in the ear canal can obstruct ear wax from moving naturally out of the ear.
- Environment: Working in dusty or dirty environments, particularly outdoors, can lead to dirt or debris building up and trapping wax in the ear.
- Frequent hearing aid and earphone use: These can prevent the wax from moving naturally out of the opening of the ear.
What is CleanEars made of?
-Squalene(derived from olive oil)- Has a similar composition to earwax but in liquid form. When it's sprayed into the ear the squalene collides with the cerumen and through imparting its kinetic energy, it partially liquifies the earwax.
-Spearmint Oil- Warms the ear canal and provides a pleasant odour.
-Paraffin(light mineral oil) -Irrigates the ear and removes the liquified earwax.
How often can I use CleanEars?
Depending on how severe your wax build up is, we would recommend 1-2 times daily.
Who is CleanEars suitable for?
CleanEars is suitable for babies and children (2+ months and over), adults and patients with removable hearing aids. Anyone who experiences wax build up in their ears.

What is Swimmer's Ear?
Swimmer’s Ear (otitis externa) is an infection or inflammation of the skin of the ear canal.
What causes Swimmer's Ear?
Swimmer’s Ear is usually caused by bacteria or fungi and commonly occurs after swimming and other aquatic activities. The ear has a naturally acidic lining and excessive exposure to moisture can alter this acidic environment, which provides the right setting for the bacteria or fungi to thrive and invade the skin inside your ear canal.
Other causes include:
- Mechanical damage, such as cleaning the ears with cotton buds.
- Use of certain devices such as earbuds or hearing aids.
- Chemicals such as hair spray, shampoo and hair dye.
Who is prone to Swimmer's Ear?
Individuals are more prone to Swimmer’s ear if they:
- Have small ear canals that do not allow for proper draining on their own.
- Suffer from diabetes, as this condition can make earwax too alkaline and provide a more hospitable environment for bacteria to grow.
- Have skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and seborrhoea.
- Spend lots of time in water.
What's in DryEars?
DryEars Swimmer’s Ear Prevention Spray contains ethanol (alcohol), glycerol (glycerin), acetic acid and spearmint oil.

What is OdourGone?
OdourGone is a range of discreet unscented patchs that instantly trap odours, going beyond just masking them. By using unique nano-porous technology, OdourGone is able to destroy the trapped odour for up to 3 months. Simly apply it to shoes, gloves, bins, kitty litter, dog beds, laundry hampers... really anywhere which has unwanted smells
How does OdourGone work?
The Odegon® technology used in OdourGone is a nano-porous carbon-based material that traps the odour molecules using an impotent, chemical-free process. It is based on the result of the Van der Waals force, which is the attraction of intermolecular forces between molecules; essentially the odour molecules are trapped and retained and only leave behind fresh smelling air!
What are the benefits of OdourGone?
- Unlike insoles, OdourGone Shoe & Glove patches fit without needing to cut them to size
- There is no artificial lemon, lavender or potpourri smell to remind you of grandmar's toilet just fresh smelling air
- It is great for sensitive skin as no chemicals are used
- Instant anti-bacterial action absorbes the smells not allowing them to fester and grow.
What is OdourGone made from?
OdourGone is made of the same fabric material that is used in protective gas masks in the defence industry and the same technology that is used by various industries to remove chemicals from the air. The nano-porous carbon-based material allows air to move through the patch, while removing and eliminating odour molecules.
What causes odour?
Odour in human clothing such as shoes is mainly caused by sweat; the sweat itself is odourless but creates the perfect environment for bacteria that is naturally present on the skin to grow and produce organic acids, causing the bad smell.
Fun Facts
- An average foot contains 600 sweat glands per square centimetre.
- Bacteria on the feet produce gases similar to those that are released while producing cheese!
- A square inch of material used in OdourGone has an internal surface area equivalent to the size of a tennis court
In bins, pet items and kitchen items it is similar the bacteria grows in ideal bacterial environments. Odour Gone Kitchen & laundry adsorbs these scents not allowing for their growth and reproduction.
