FAQs
CleanEars
WHAT IS CLEANEARS SPRAY?
CleanEars is a 2-in-1 earwax removal spray that dissolves impacted cerumen and irrigates the ear canal.
What is earwax and what is its function?
Cerumen (earwax) is part of the external ear defense mechanism i.e. prevents infection.
It consists of epithelial cells, foreign bodies and glandular secretions. Cerumen lubricates and cleans the ear canal.
Cleaning occurs via the constant migration of cerumen and the adherence of foreign particles to it.
Sometimes, the wax builds up and becomes compacted, known as ‘earwax impaction’. This can lead to symptoms such as mild deafness and a sensation of fullness inside the ear.
How common is earwax impaction and what are its implications?
2-6% of the population suffer from ear wax impaction. It is often experienced in patients over 65 years of age; up to 65% of over 65s have cerumen impaction. Effects may include: hearing loss, pain, itching, tinnitus, vertigo, painful inflammation of the ear and chronic cough.
What causes earwax build up?
Some people are prone to produce more earwax than others; and excess wax doesn’t automatically lead to blockage. Using cotton tips can push wax deeper and is not a recommended way to remove ear wax.
Below are some common causes of earwax build up:
- Overproduction of ear wax: Ears can simply produce more wax than is possible to move naturally out of the ear.
- Cotton tips: The use of cotton tips to clean the ear may push wax deeper into the ear, making it more difficult to remove.
- Physiology: A narrow ear canal can hinder the natural removal process and ear wax can accumulate.
- Hair: A large amount of hair in the ear canal can obstruct ear wax from moving naturally out of the ear.
- Environment: Working in dusty or dirty environments, particularly outdoors, can lead to dirt or debris building up and trapping wax in the ear.
- Frequent hearing aid and earphone use: These can prevent the wax from moving naturally out of the opening of the ear.
What is CleanEars made of?
- Squalene (derived from olive oil) - Has a similar composition to earwax but in liquid form. When it's sprayed into the ear the squalene collides with the cerumen and through imparting its kinetic energy, it partially liquifies the earwax.
- Spearmint Oil - Warms the ear canal and provides a pleasant odour.
- Paraffin (light mineral oil) - Irrigates the ear and removes the liquified earwax.

DryEars
WHAT IS DRYEARS?
DryEars is an easy preventative solution that dries the ear canal of excess moisture while also inhibiting bacterial and fungal growth.
What is Swimmer's Ear?
Swimmer’s Ear (otitis externa) is an infection or inflammation of the skin of the ear canal.
What causes Swimmer’s Ear?
Swimmer’s Ear is usually caused by bacteria or fungi and commonly occurs after swimming and other aquatic activities. The ear has a naturally acidic lining and excessive exposure to moisture can alter this acidic environment, which provides the right setting for the bacteria or fungi to thrive and invade the skin inside your ear canal.
Other causes include:
- Mechanical damage, such as cleaning the ears with cotton buds.
- Use of certain devices such as earbuds or hearing aids.
- Chemicals such as hair spray, shampoo and hair dye.
Who is prone to Swimmer’s Ear?
Individuals are more prone to Swimmer’s ear if they:
- Have small ear canals that do not allow for proper draining on their own.
- Suffer from diabetes, as this condition can make earwax too alkaline and provide a more hospitable environment for bacteria to grow.
- Have skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and seborrhoea.
- Spend lots of time in water.
What’s in DryEars?
DryEars Swimmer’s Ear Prevention Spray contains ethanol (alcohol), glycerol (glycerin), acetic acid and spearmint oil.
How often can I use DryEars?
DryEars can be used as often as needed, preferably immediately after water exposure. We recommend 1-2 sprays into each ear.
How does DryEars work?
DryEars is a preventative spray that helps dry excess water from the ear canal, while inhibiting bacterial and fungal infections. The ingredients work in the following manner:
- Ethanol (alcohol) mixes with the water in the ear and helps the water evaporate
- Glycerol (glycerin) prevents the skin from drying out
- Acetic acid helps to stop the growth of bacteria and fungus
- Spearmint oil provides a pleasant odour and has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help kill bacteria.
Who is DryEars suitable for?
DryEars is suited to children 3 and over, adults and patients with removable hearing aids
Is DryEars tested on animals?
No, DryEars is not tested on animals and is 100% cruelty free.

Milky Foot allows you to achieve beautifully soft and smooth feet without the need to visit a salon and all on your own time.
How does Milky Foot work?
Milky Foot contains a range of AHAs & BHAs such as Glycolic acid, Lactic acid and Salicylic acid which help exfoliate and break down the outer layers of the skin by dissolving the fibres that hold the thickened dead skin cells together which then allows for the skin to peel away effectively, without any effort!
While the AHAs do their part, Milky Foot also contains ingredients such as Glycerin and Aloe vera leaf extract to help hydrate and moisturise, while Calendula flower extract, Lactobacilicus and Chamomile flower extract help to calm and soothe the skin, leaving your feet feeling soft and smooth.
Who is Milky Foot for?
Milky Foot can be used by anyone and everyone! Whether you’ve got rough and callused feet, looking for an at-home alternative to the salon, prepping for an upcoming special event or are just looking to pamper yourself – we’ve got you covered.

Which Milky Foot is right for me?
If you’re after an intense exfoliation of your feet, we recommend Milky Foot Regular or Large.
If you’re someone who tends to suffer from foot odour or are prone to Athletes Foot, Milky Foot Active or Active XL is for you. It has the addition of Tannic Acid and a higher concentration of Mandelic Acid. Tannic Acid acts as a natural astringent and is antibacterial, while the Mandelic Acid also acts as an additional antibacterial agent.

For best results possible we recommend removing nail polish/shellac, cleansing your feet by soaking them in warm water for 10 – 20 minutes prior to treatment, followed by soaking them daily in warm water for 20 minutes after treatment. You can also wear regular socks over the top of the Milky Foot socks during treatment to ensure maximum contact of formula to your feet.
How often should I use Milky Foot?
Use Milky Foot every 2 to 3 months to keep feet looking great and feeling smooth & soft. The product works best when a layer of dead skin is present on your feet.
We do not recommend using the product within 6 weeks of your next treatment.
How is Milky Foot different from other foot exfoliating products?
Milky Foot requires no filing, no ointments and no hard work. Our contoured 3D sock helps the formula spread evenly across the parts of your foot that need it the most, which allows for the shortest application time on the market of just 45 minutes.
What precautions should be taken when using Milky Foot?
If you’re a first-time user, we highly recommend doing a ‘spot test’. Simply cut a small opening in the sock and apply a small amount of the formula on a soft part of your sole or ankle to test the sensitivity of your skin. Leave this on for 20 minutes then rinse thoroughly. Wait 48 hours before proceeding to use Milky Foot. Do not use if you experience sensitivities to any of the ingredients.
If you experience any allergic reactions, irritations or burning sensations please discontinue use and wash feet immediately. We recommend seeking medical advice if symptoms persist.
Milky Foot is only intended to be used on the feet. If you have a history of skin allergies, conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, nail fungal infections, open wounds or cuts on your feet we recommend consulting your healthcare practitioner before using the product.
AHAs and Salicylic acid are not suitable for sensitive skin. AHAs may increase skin sensitivity, it is recommended to limit sun exposure by applying sunscreen and wearing protective wear for a week following the use of the product.

What is the difference between Turmeric and Curcumin?
Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is herbaceous plant native to the Indian subcontinent and South East Asia and most commonly known as a popular Indian spice. The rhizome (multiple root) of the plant is harvested, cleaned, dried, and powdered to be used as a spice (turmeric gives curry its beautiful golden yellow colour) and as a therapeutic substance. Compounds in turmeric responsible for its health benefits are known as curcuminoids, one of the more commonly known curcuminoids is ‘curcumin’. Just as oranges are a source of vitamin C, turmeric is a source of curcumin. Extensive research has been done on the therapeutic properties of the compound curcumin as well as the whole rhizome itself, turmeric. Traditional Ayurvedic medicine has always used the entire rhizome for its therapeutic benefits which includes other curcuminoids, polysaccharides, tumerones and essential oils.
How is Turmeric BetaSorb® different from other Turmeric and Curcumin products?
Extensive studies regarding natural absorption, transportation, assimilation and elimination of turmeric and its active components such as curcumin, have shown poor absorption and rapid metabolism which leads to low bio-availability in humans. Betasorb® is a unique proprietary delivery technology, developed by a biochemist in Australia exclusively for Nageze® to improves Turmeric’s absorption and bioavailability in the human body.
I’ve never heard of Terminalia chebula before. What is it and what makes TermiPain® special?
Terminalia chebula is a fruit tree that is native to a wide area of South Asia that includes India, Nepal, parts of China, Sri Lanka, Malaysia & Vietnam and appears as a therapeutic in many of these ancient cultures. It is a relative of Australia’s Kakadu Plum which is also a Terminalia. It is one of three ingredients found in Ayurvedic medicine’s best known tonic ‘Triphala’. TermiPain® is a proprietary extract made from the dry organic fruit of this tree and it is standardised to chebulinic and chebulagic acid. Terminalia chebula is recognised as a pharmacopoeial Ayurvedic medicine which reports the following benefits:
- Antioxidant
- Liver support
- Anti-inflammatory

How does OdourGone work?
The Odegon® technology used in OdourGone is a nano-porous carbon-based material that traps the odour molecules using an impotent, chemical-free process. The nano-porous carbon-based material allows air to move through the patch, while removing and eliminating odour molecules.
What causes odour?
Odour in human clothing such as shoes is mainly caused by sweat; the sweat itself is odourless but creates the perfect environment for bacteria that is naturally present on the skin to grow and produce organic acids, causing the bad smell.
Fun Facts
- An average foot contains 600 sweat glands per square centimetre.
- Bacteria on the feet produce gases similar to those that are released while producing cheese!
- A square inch of material used in OdourGone has an internal surface area equivalent to the size of a tennis court
In bins, pet items and kitchen items it is similar the bacteria grows in ideal bacterial environments. Odour Gone Kitchen & laundry adsorbs these scents not allowing for their growth and reproduction.
